Baer is looking for SAP Asset Strategy Lead (APM) for a 2 month project located in Houston, TX

Title: SAP Asset Strategy Lead (APM)
Location: Hybrid – Houston, TX - 3 days/week. 20% anticipated onsite support
Duration: 2 months
Rate: Hourly Plus Expenses Reimbursed
Alignment: W2 or C2C

Overview

We are seeking a senior SAP Asset Strategy Lead with strong expertise in SAP Asset Performance Management (APM) Public Cloud, Asset Maintenance, and Oil & Gas industry processes. The candidate will lead asset strategy and APM initiatives, drive solution design, and coordinate customer, SI, and SAP teams to deliver effective asset performance and reliability solutions.

Description:

  • Lead SAP APM (Public Cloud) solution design and implementation activities.
  • Drive asset strategy, condition-based maintenance, and predictive maintenance processes.
  • Provide expertise in SAP S/4HANA Asset Management and APM functionality.
  • Align asset management solutions with Oil & Gas industry and reliability engineering best practices.
  • Lead and coordinate customer, SI, and SAP resources.
  • Facilitate workshops, manage stakeholders, resolve issues, and drive project deliverables.
  • Provide hands-on functional leadership and ensure quality solution delivery.


Requirements:

  • 6+ years of SAP experience.
  • Strong hands-on experience in SAP Asset Performance Management (APM) Public Cloud.
  • Excellent understanding of Asset Maintenance business processes, particularly condition-based maintenance and asset strategy.
  • Good knowledge of Oil & Gas industry processes and reliability engineering best practices.
  • Strong understanding of SAP S/4HANA Asset Management and APM functionality.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proven ability to lead customer, SI, and SAP teams in a fast-paced project environment.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
