Description
We are looking for an experienced Project Manager/Sr. Consultant to join our team in New York, New York. This long-term contract position offers the opportunity to lead impactful projects within the hospitality industry, collaborating with diverse teams and external partners to achieve strategic objectives. The ideal candidate will demonstrate expertise in project management methodologies and ensure successful delivery of complex initiatives.
Responsibilities:
Oversee the planning, execution, and completion of cross-functional projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
Collaborate with business units, technology teams, and external partners to define project scope and objectives.
Utilize Agile Scrum methodologies to manage workflows and optimize team performance.
Monitor project progress, budgets, and risks, implementing corrective actions when necessary.
Drive stakeholder engagement by effectively communicating project updates and milestones.
Leverage Atlassian Jira to track tasks, manage timelines, and ensure transparency across teams.
Develop comprehensive project plans, including resource allocation and risk management strategies.
Ensure adherence to industry standards and best practices for project management.
Facilitate meetings and workshops to promote collaboration and resolve challenges.
Provide leadership and guidance to team members to foster productivity and innovation.
Requirements
Proven experience in managing complex IT projects within the hospitality industry.
PMP Certification is required to demonstrate detail-oriented project management practices.
Strong expertise in Agile Scrum methodologies and their application in project workflows.
Proficiency in using Atlassian Jira for tracking and managing projects.
Excellent communication and organizational skills to coordinate with diverse stakeholders.
Ability to effectively manage budgets, risks, and timelines to achieve project success.
Demonstrated leadership skills to inspire and guide project teams.
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience in project management.
