Denodo Platform SME- Remote / Telecommute

Requirement/Must Have:

• Strong hands-on experience with the Denodo Platform.
• Expertise in Denodo administration, deployment, and configuration.
• Proficiency in VQL (Virtual Query Language).
• Experience with data virtualization concepts and enterprise data architecture.
• Experience integrating Denodo with databases, APIs, cloud platforms, and flat files.
• Strong knowledge of Denodo security configuration, role management, and governance.
• Experience in performance monitoring and query optimization.
• Experience designing and implementing role-based access control (RBAC) models.
• Experience conducting security audits, including roles, permissions, and access patterns.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Experience:

• 5+ years of hands-on experience with the Denodo Platform.
• Experience supporting enterprise-level production environments.

Responsibilities:

• Provide day-to-day administration, support, and maintenance of the Denodo Platform.
• Lead and support platform deployments, upgrades, and configurations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues and incidents.
• Develop and manage virtual data models, data sources, and data services.
• Collaborate with data engineers, architects, and stakeholders to implement solutions.
• Monitor performance and implement tuning and optimization improvements.
• Maintain documentation for configurations, deployments, and procedures.
• Provide on-call support for production issues as needed.
• Conduct security assessments of the Denodo platform, including roles and permissions.
• Design and implement decentralized, team-based access models.
• Enable teams to manage their own deployments with appropriate controls.
• Identify and remediate security risks and gaps.
• Clean up legacy roles, permissions, and redundant access.
• Develop and document target-state security and governance models.

Should Have:

• Denodo Platform certification.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Experience in regulated or compliance-driven environments.
• Strong documentation and governance experience.

Skills:

• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Communication skills for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Data architecture and data virtualization expertise.
• Performance tuning and optimization.

Qualification and Education:

• Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field preferred.
