Summary

Dallas, TX (Onsite) OR Remote with Monthly Travel to Client Location (Expenses Paid)

Key Responsibilities

Managed Services Operations

  • Own day-to-day support and administration of the Oracle FCCS environment including metadata management, rule maintenance, and period close activities
  • Manage and resolve service tickets related to FCCS consolidation, data loads, eliminations, currency translation, and intercompany matching
  • Monitor and maintain data integration pipelines feeding FCCS from upstream ERP systems (Oracle EBS, Fusion Cloud, or equivalent)
  • Perform system health checks, diagnose performance issues, and implement tuning recommendations
  • Coordinate with Our Client's internal finance operations team for period-end close support and escalation management

Flux Analysis & Variance Reporting

  • Design, build, and maintain Flux Analysis reports within FCCS to support month-over-month, quarter-over-quarter, and year-over-year variance analysis across consolidated entities
  • Develop automated Flux commentary workflows and threshold-based alerting to streamline the financial close narrative process
  • Work directly with CFO office stakeholders to translate Flux findings into actionable financial insights and management reporting packages
  • Build and maintain custom FCCS report packages using Financial Reporting Studio and Narrative Reporting (EPRCS) integrated with Flux outputs
  • Ensure Flux reports align with US GAAP and IFRS reporting standards across Our Client's multi-entity, multi-currency global consolidation

Financial Consolidation & Close

  • Support and enhance the monthly, quarterly, and annual consolidation process including intercompany eliminations, minority interest calculations, and equity method adjustments
  • Maintain and optimize consolidation rules, ownership hierarchies, and translation methods
  • Manage journal entry workflows, consolidation adjustments, and audit trail requirements within FCCS
  • Support SOX compliance controls related to the financial close and consolidation process

Enhancements & Development

  • Analyze business requirements from Our Client's finance stakeholders and translate them into FCCS configuration and development work
  • Design and implement metadata changes, new dimensions, members, and hierarchies in response to business restructuring or M&A activity
  • Build and maintain data maps and integrations using FCCS Data Management (FDMEE/Data Integration)
  • Participate in release management and regression testing for Oracle quarterly patch updates

Stakeholder & Documentation

  • Serve as the primary technical point of contact for Our Client's EPM team, internal audit, and external auditors on FCCS-related matters
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of system configuration, business rules, and operational procedures
  • Conduct knowledge transfer sessions and build capability within Our Client's internal team

Required Qualifications

  • 5 10+ years of Oracle EPM consulting or implementation experience
  • 3+ years of hands-on Oracle FCCS (Financial Consolidation and Close Cloud Service) experience in a production environment
  • Deep expertise in Flux Analysis report design, variance methodology, and automated commentary within FCCS
  • Strong understanding of financial consolidation concepts: intercompany eliminations, currency translation, minority interest, equity pickup
  • Experience with FCCS Data Management (FDMEE / Data Integration) for ERP-to-EPM data loads
  • Proficiency in Financial Reporting Studio and/or Narrative Reporting (EPRCS)
  • Experience supporting managed services or AMS engagements in an enterprise environment
  • Familiarity with Oracle Fusion Cloud Financials or Oracle EBS as upstream data sources
  • Strong communication skills ability to present findings to CFO-level stakeholders
  • Dallas, TX-based strongly preferred OR willingness to travel to Dallas on a monthly basis; all travel expenses covered by FourSteps Solutions

Preferred Qualifications

  • Oracle EPM Cloud certification (FCCS or EPM Cloud Implementation Specialist)
  • Experience with HFM-to-FCCS migration projects
  • Familiarity with Our Client's Oracle EPM environment or prior Big Tech managed services experience
  • Knowledge of SOX financial controls in a public company environment
  • Experience with EPM Automate and scripting for FCCS automation
  • Background in global consolidation for US-listed multinational companies
