Summary

A local technology?driven organization is seeking a Network Engineer to join their Infrastructure & Operations team. This role focuses on designing, deploying, and supporting enterprise?grade network environments across LAN, WAN, SD?WAN, and next?generation firewall platforms. You'll work hands?on with customer premises equipment-including routers, switches, telephony devices-and ensure that network services meet performance, reliability, and security standards. You'll partner closely with internal teams and external carriers to optimize connectivity, troubleshoot issues, and maintain a resilient network architecture.

Contract Duration: 12 Month Contract, Extensions

Required Skills & Experience

Hands?on experience with IP routers, switches, telephony, and customer premises equipment.
Design, configure, and deploy LAN and WAN network connections, hardware, software, communication links, and services.
Optimize network and system services; troubleshoot and resolve network performance issues.
Responsible for service provisioning and monitoring of network infrastructure to company standards.
5-8 years of experience with Cisco and Juniper routers.
Strong knowledge of internetworking designs, routing concepts, and their practical applications.
Solid understanding of Layer 2 and Layer 3 internetworking technologies.
5-8 years of experience working with core networking protocols.
Firewall experience with platforms such as Cisco ASA, Juniper SRX, Check Point NG, etc.
Extensive hands?on experience with Cisco switches and routers.
Industry certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or CCIE

Desired Skills & Experience

Experience with LTE/5G or wireless carriers.
API, scripting, or automation skills (Python preferred).
