Job Description:

Essential Job Functions

• Create a Cloud strategy and roadmap working with internal and external partners
• Design document and implement new cloud applications and systems
• Collaborate with product and platform teams as appropriate to best understand solutioning needs and ensure best practices are leveraged
• Serve as subject matter expert for company initiatives that require guidance with cloud requirements
• Create proofofconcept solutions using native cloud provider technologies and demonstrate capabilities to product and platform teams
• Provide support and technical governance expertise relates to cloud architectures deployment and operations
• Protecting the environment by coordinating planning and implementing cloud security and management capabilities
• Work with technology vendors to provide solutions that are effective for the enterprise
• Ensure stability in the production environment
• Develop and maintain effective cross functional working relationships with business and IT teams
• Flexibility to work varied schedules including occasionally outside of normal business hours
• Maintain awareness of new and emerging technologies and potential applicationservice offerings and products

Knowledge Skills and Abilities

• Strong understanding of multicloud and hybrid solutions
• Handson technical skills in some of the following areas ServerOS management Network management Cloud migration and deployment Database and Middleware management Storage and Virtualization management
• Strong understanding of cloud securitymanagement SAMLOAuthOIDC MFA and RBAC
• Experience in architecting and designing technical solutions leveraging Microsoft Azure IaaS PaaS and SaaS capabilities
• Knowledge of cloud security controls including tenant isolation encryption at rest and in transit key management vulnerability assessments application firewalls SIEM etc
• Experience building and supporting mission critical technology components with DR capabilities
• Experience with multitier system and service design and development for large enterprises
• Extensive realworld experience designing technology components for enterprise solutions and defining solution architectures and reference architectures with a focus on cloud technologies
• Cloud automation regarding userassetservice provisioning including infrastructure as code
• Understanding of horizontal and vertical scaling best practices
• Expertise with best practices for highly available and resilient solutions
