Summary

Our client, a leading engine manufacturing company, is seeking a Quality Engineer to join their team. As a Quality Engineer, you will be part of the Quality Department supporting the Manufacturing, Assembly, and Engineering Teams. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and effective communication skills which will align successfully in the organization.

Location:Detroit, MI.

Pay Range:$38 - $43

What\'s the Job?

    \t
  • Coordinate quality objectives with manufacturing, engineering, and other cross-functional departments. \t
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives through error-proofing and mistake-proofing processes. \t
  • Analyze assembly process and SPC data to identify trends and implement corrective actions. \t
  • Utilize Advanced Quality Tools, including PFMEA, to ensure quality standards are met throughout assembly operations. \t
  • Support engine assembly operations in a hands-on plant environment while driving issues to closure through quality feedback loops.

What\'s Needed?

    \t
  • Bachelor\'s degree in Engineering required. \t
  • 2-4 years of experience in quality engineering, manufacturing, or related field. \t
  • Knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) and CMM operations. \t
  • Experience with SPC analysis, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement methodologies. \t
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and evaluate product integrity and compliance to standards.
