Job Description:
Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Network Engineer to join their dynamic team based in Austin, TX. This role involves significant customer interaction and on-site delivery, focusing on the installation, integration, customization, and delivery of sophisticated networking solutions. The ideal candidate will be passionate about advancing technology and providing exceptional customer service. This position requires onsite presence 2-3 days per week at the customer's location and is a 12-month contract with potential for extension based on performance.

Responsibilities:
  • Influence customer decisions on IT and operations strategies to achieve desired business outcomes.
  • Drive the standardization of processes and adoption of performance metrics and best practices to enhance delivery efficiency.
  • Lead the design and delivery of end-to-end solutions integrating advanced technologies in networking and automation.
  • Align solutions with customer business models and goals, focusing on ROI and value creation.
  • Identify renewal and upsell opportunities, linking them to technology lifecycle and customer strategies.
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to resolve complex customer problems in support of critical issues.
  • Collaborate effectively across functions and boundaries to achieve significant results and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, customers, and partners.
  • Contribute to customer problem resolution, innovation, engineering engagement, intellectual capital, and talent development.

Qualifications:
  • BS in a technical field (CS/EE preferred) or equivalent plus 8+ years related experience.
  • Advanced certifications such as CCIE, DevNet Pro, or equivalent in networking and programmability.
  • Expertise in multi-domain, cross-architecture technology solutions.
  • Proven experience in Catalyst Switching, Catalyst Center, and Enterprise Routing & Switching.
  • Strong experience in programming and automation, with proficiency in Python and Ansible.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead large scale enterprise design and implementation engagements.
  • Client-facing experience with the ability to be onsite 2-3 days per week as required.
