Quality Assurance Automation Developer - Remote / Telecommute

• Responsible for creating and executing test plans to support frequent feature delivery with consistent quality.
• Designs and implements test cases, system tests, load and performance tests, and security tests.
• Develops and maintains automation frameworks and supports rapid delivery through automated test suites.
• Promotes quality practices across the team including code linting, test coverage, and BDD/TDD.
• Supports initiatives for reusable testing components, test databases, and AI-assisted testing. Contributes to defining and automating quality metrics and reporting.

Requirement/Must Have:

• Experience in coding and developing test automation scripts using CI/CD pipelines such as Jenkins or GitHub Actions.
• Experience creating and modifying automation test scripts.
• Experience preparing or supporting automation test plans and test cases.
• Experience using automation testing frameworks.
• Experience with GitHub version control.
• Experience with load testing, performance testing, security testing, and end-to-end testing.

Experience:

• Experience in test automation development and scripting.
• Experience working with CI/CD pipelines and automation frameworks.
• Experience in quality assurance testing across multiple testing types.

Responsibilities:

• Create test plans to support frequent feature delivery with consistent quality.

• Design and implement system, load, performance, and security tests.
• Implement and maintain automated test suites for rapid delivery.
• Coordinate contributions to shared automated test suites.
• Promote quality practices such as code linting, test coverage, and BDD/TDD.
• Support reusable testing components and frameworks.
• Assist in creating and maintaining test databases and AI-assisted testing initiatives.
• Define and support quality metrics for service performance.
• Contribute to automated metrics collection and reporting.
• Generate quality reports and artifacts.
• Collaborate with team members to improve testing standards and practices.

Should Have:

• Experience with API testing.
• Experience with Cucumber and/or Gherkin.
• Experience with Cypress.
• Experience in establishing QA automation metrics.
• Experience implementing QA automation standards in an organization.
• Experience with Jira Xray.
• Experience with user acceptance testing in complex multi-stakeholder environments.
