We are seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Automation Engineer to support and advance an enterprise-wide automation initiative. In this role, you will collaborate closely with agile Scrum and project teams to understand business requirements, design and execute automated testing strategies, and ensure the delivery of high-quality, scalable software solutions across complex enterprise systems.

The ideal candidate is both technically strong and team-oriented someone who leads by example, mentors others, and brings enthusiasm to solving both simple and complex challenges. Experience with test automation frameworks and enterprise automation tools is critical, with a strong preference for candidates familiar with Tricentis Tosca.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test cases using enterprise automation tools (Tosca preferred).
• Collaborate with Scrum teams, developers, and engineers to understand application functionality and testing requirements.
• Create and execute automation strategies that align with business and quality objectives.
• Organize and manage automation testing activities to ensure scalability, reliability, and consistency.
• Support, coach, and mentor team members to expand organizational automation capabilities.
• Design and maintain stable testing infrastructure across Development, QA, and Production environments.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and continuously improve build, packaging, deployment, and test execution processes.
• Participate in testing across the automation pyramid, including:
• UI automation
• API and integration testing
• End-to-end testing
• Performance and load testing
• Functional and security testing
• Partner with developers for deep technical analysis, root cause identification, and optimization of automation coverage.
• Ensure testing practices align with modern application architectures and development standards.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Quality Assurance.
• 5+ years of experience automating software solutions and maintaining test data and test environments.
• Hands-on experience working in an Agile development environment.
• Proficiency writing and maintaining automated tests using one or more programming languages (e.g., C#, JavaScript, Python).
• Experience with test management tools (qTest preferred).
• Experience testing web services and APIs.
• Strong SQL query and data validation skills.
• Working knowledge of unit testing and how it integrates with broader automation frameworks.
• Familiarity with work tracking tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, TFS, or similar platforms.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Technical Skills

• Experience with Tricentis Tosca and Tosca certification.
• Knowledge of enterprise architectures including microservices, event-driven systems, and domain-driven design.
• Experience with cloud, network infrastructure, databases, and data center operations.
• Understanding of security protocols and testing considerations.
• Background in CI/CD pipelines and automated infrastructure capabilities.
