Description:
 
Provide administrative, planning, and logistical support for public health emergency preparedness and response activities.
 
Responsibilities:
 
  • Assist in developing, updating, and maintaining emergency response plans.
  • Research and document emergency preparedness procedures and identify planning gaps.
  • Maintain databases, contact lists, records, and reports.
  • Support emergency response training, exercises, and incident coordination.
  • Collect and analyze information to evaluate emergency plans.
  • Coordinate with internal teams, external partners, and volunteers.
 
Required Skills:
 
  • 2 years of clerical or administrative experience; post-secondary education may substitute year-for-year.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and database applications.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and documentation skills.
  • Knowledge of office procedures and standard office equipment.
 
Preferred Qualifications:
 
  • Experience in public health, government, or emergency management.
  • Familiarity with NIMS, ICS, and HSEEP.
  • Project or program management skills.
 
Education: High school diploma or GED required.
