Summary

Install, configure, upgrade, and maintain IBM DataCap environments across non-production and production systems.Administer DataCap components (Taskmaster, Rulerunner, and Web Services),including service tuning and health monitoring.Deploy DataCap Admin, Engine, and Fingerprint components using DataCaptools and scripting integrated with Git-based pipelines.Maintain DataCap application workflows, fingerprints, and ruleset libraries acrossmultiple applications.Deploy and manage custom DataCap modules built with the DataCapDeveloper s Kit (DDK), incorporating them into the build pipeline.Administer IBM Content Navigator (ICN) and IBM FileNet integration, includingplug-in deployment, desktop configuration, and repository connectivity.Troubleshoot complex DataCap issues (e.g., workflow failures, OCR accuracydegradation, DLL conflicts, WTM/Taskmaster crashes).Manage DataCap user accounts, role-based permissions, and stations acrossenvironments.Perform performance analysis and tuning for DataCap batch processing (e.g.,concurrent job management, throughput optimization).Coordinate IBM Support engagements, manage PMRs/cases, and maintainvendor patch currency.Git Repository & DevOps Pipeline ManagementMaintain and govern Git repositories for DataCap application configurations,scripts, and deployment artifacts.Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated deployment and validation ofDataCap and ICN components.Implement Git branching strategies, branch protection rules, CODEOWNERSpolicies, and environment-gated release controls.Manage code review workflows, merge request processes, and version taggingaligned to release management practices.Integrate Git pipelines with project management tools (e.g., Jira) to ensuretraceability between work items and releases. PowerShell Scripting & AutomationDevelop and maintain PowerShell scripts for automated maintenance, logparsing, configuration deployment, and health checks.Create PowerShell-based reporting for DataCap batch status, processingmetrics, and error-trend analysis.Automate environment tasks (e.g., fingerprint deployment, service restarts, batchqueue management).Script integration workflows across DataCap, SQL Server, and AWS services(e.g., Textract) for extraction and operational reporting.Maintain script documentation, version-control standards, and a shared teamscripting library.Monitoring, Incident Management & DocumentationOperate and maintain monitoring dashboards for batch queue health, documentaging, and processing throughput.Respond to and resolve incidents involving capture failures, workflow stalls, andoutages within defined SLAs.Produce incident reports, root cause analyses (RCAs), and post-incidentdocumentation.Maintain system documentation, including architecture diagrams, runbooks,configuration baselines, and change logs.Required QualificationsIBM DataCap & ECM Platform3+ years of hands-on IBM DataCap administration experience in an enterpriseenvironment.Demonstrated expertise with DataCap core components (Taskmaster,Rulerunner, and Web Taskmaster).Working knowledge of IBM Content Navigator (ICN) administration.Familiarity with DataCap log analysis, crash dump interpretation, and vendorescalation processes.Git & DevOps Proficiency with Git repository management (branching, merging, tagging, pullrequests, and repository governance).Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CIor equivalent).Familiarity with environment-gated deployments and change-control integration.PowerShellStrong PowerShell scripting skills (modules, error handling, scheduling, and SQLServer integration).Experience using PowerShell for system administration, log processing, andoperational automation.Ability to write readable, maintainable scripts suitable for a team environment.Preferred QualificationsExperience with WebSphere Application Server administration, SSO and sessionmanagement.Familiarity with .NET or Java development for DataCap custom actions or ICNplug-in integration.Experience with SQL Server DBA activities (query tuning, index maintenance,storage management, SSMS operations).Exposure to AI/ML document processing tools (e.g., AWS Textract, HuggingFace OCR models).Skills & CompetenciesTechnical SkillsIBM DataCap (all components)IBM Content Navigator (ICN)AWS (S3, Lambda, Textract, RDS)Git/CI/CD pipeline developmentPowerShell scripting and automationSQL Server administrationWindows Server administrationCloudWatch monitoring and alerting Professional SkillsStrong analytical and troubleshooting abilityClear written and verbal communicationAbility to work independently and collaborativelyEffective vendor and stakeholder managementAttention to detail and strong documentation disciplineAdaptability in fast-paced project environmentsCross-functional collaborationProactive risk identification and issue resolutionWork Environment & ExpectationsCollaborative team supporting a large-scale document modernization program.Engagement with cross-functional stakeholders (project management, security,operations, and agency business units).Participation in on-call rotation, daily health checks, and after-hours support for critical incidents.
