Summary

Job Title: Oracle DBA (GoldenGate & ODI) Part-Time Remote (USA)

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Oracle Database Administrator (DBA) with expertise in data replication, integration, and database management using Oracle GoldenGate and Oracle Data Integrator (ODI). This is a part-time, remote position supporting US-based operations, requiring flexibility to work across time zones.

Key Responsibilities

Manage, monitor, and maintain Oracle database environments (production and non-production).
Install, configure, and support Oracle GoldenGate for real-time data replication.
Perform installation, configuration, and administration of Oracle Data Integrator (ODI).
Design and maintain data integration workflows and ETL processes.
Troubleshoot performance issues, replication latency, and data inconsistencies.
Implement database backup, recovery, and disaster recovery strategies.
Ensure database security, patching, and compliance with standards.
Work on schema management, query tuning, and performance optimization.
Collaborate with application teams for deployment and database changes.
Provide documentation and operational support for database environments.
Participate in on-call support as required.

Required Skills & Qualifications

12+ years of experience as an Oracle DBA.

Strong expertise in Oracle Database (11g/12c/19c or later).
Hands-on experience with Oracle GoldenGate (installation, configuration, troubleshooting).
Experience with Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) setup and administration.
Knowledge of RMAN, Data Pump, and backup/recovery techniques.
Strong SQL, PL/SQL, and performance tuning skills.
Familiarity with Linux/Unix environments.
Understanding of high availability solutions (RAC, Data Guard).
Experience with ETL/data warehousing concepts.
Good communication skills for remote collaboration with US teams.

Preferred Qualifications

Exposure to cloud platforms (OCI, AWS, or Azure).
Knowledge of scripting (Shell, Python).
Oracle certifications (OCP/OCI) are a plus.

Nice to Have

Experience with Form 14C or regulatory/reporting environments (if applicable to your business context).
Exposure to data governance and compliance standards.
