DESCRIPTION:
Lead complex, enterprise-wide IT projects and programs while fostering continuous improvement and innovation. As a Senior IT Project Manager, you'll work cross-functionally to deliver strategic technology solutions that enable our mission of making the world healthier, cleaner, and safer. Apply both traditional and agile methodologies to manage project scope, schedules, budgets, and resources across teams. Develop strong relationships with business stakeholders, vendors, and technical teams to ensure successful project delivery while maintaining compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements.
REQUIREMENTS:
Advanced degree plus 6 years of experience, or Bachelor's degree plus 8 years of IT project management experience, including large-scale enterprise implementations
Preferred Fields of Study: Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred
Agile/Scrum certifications (SAFe, CSM, etc.) preferred
Strong expertise in project management methodologies including Agile, Scrum, SAFe, and Waterfall
Experience with project/portfolio management tools (MS Project, Planview, Jira, etc.)
Demonstrated success managing complex technical projects in regulated environments (GxP, SOX, HIPAA, etc.)
Excellent financial acumen and budget management capabilities
Demonstrated ability to guide and collaborate across multiple teams and organizational levels
Experience managing distributed teams and external vendors
Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal
Proficiency with MS Office suite and project management software
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Knowledge of change management principles and methodologies
Experience with enterprise systems like ERP, CRM, LIMS preferred
Travel may be required up to 20%
Life sciences or pharmaceutical industry experience preferred
Demonstrated success in project delivery within scope, timeline and budget constraints
Excellent risk management and issue resolution skills
Experience with running projects involving VMWare and Zscaler is preferred
Compensation and BenefitsThe salary range estimated for this position based in Maryland is $113,500.00-$170,200.00.
