Summary

The Professional Field Representative plays a key role in supporting Wisconsin Medicaid providers by partnering to resolve complex operational and program-related issues. This role focuses on provider education, issue resolution, policy application, and collaborative problem-solving to ensure accurate program administration and improved stakeholder experience. The position requires strong analytical skills, independent judgment, and the ability to translate policy into practical solutions.

Your role in our mission

  • Partners with Medicaid providers to analyze and resolve complex issues to form a solution.
  • Educates and trains Medicaid Stakeholders one-on-one.
  • Learns policies and procedures as they relate to the contract.
  • Learns how to handle escalated issues from the customer.
  • Participates in the identification, documentation, analysis and validation of basic business processes, systems, and solution requirements.


What we're looking for

  • General healthcare knowledge of commercial and government insurance programs, including Medicaid
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain policy clearly and professionally
  • Strong research, analytical, and problem-resolution skills
  • Project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, and make informed decisions
  • Experience supporting healthcare providers, payers, or managed care organizations preferred

The pay range for this position is $54,300.00 - $77,500.00 per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
