Summary

Role Overview

We are seeking a visionary Principal Solution Architect (AI) to lead the design and implementation of enterprise-scale AI and machine learning solutions. This role will drive AI strategy, architecture, and adoption across the organization, enabling intelligent automation, advanced analytics, and next-generation client experiences.

You will partner with business leaders, data scientists, and engineering teams to deliver scalable, secure, and production-ready AI systems in a highly regulated financial services environment.


Key Responsibilities

  • Define and lead the enterprise AI/ML architecture strategy and roadmap
  • Design scalable solutions using machine learning, deep learning, and generative AI
  • Translate business problems into AI-driven technical solutions
  • Architect end-to-end AI pipelines (data ingestion → modeling → deployment → monitoring)
  • Lead implementation of LLM-based applications (chatbots, copilots, document intelligence)
  • Ensure model governance, explainability, and compliance in regulated environments
  • Collaborate with data engineering teams to build robust data pipelines and feature stores
  • Drive adoption of MLOps best practices (CI/CD for ML, model versioning, monitoring)
  • Evaluate and integrate AI/ML platforms, frameworks, and tools
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to cross-functional teams
  • Partner with security teams to ensure responsible AI and data privacy standards
  • Stay current with emerging trends in AI and recommend innovation opportunities

Required Qualifications

  • 12+ years of experience in software engineering, data engineering, or architecture
  • 5+ years of experience designing and deploying AI/ML solutions at scale
  • Strong experience with machine learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn)
  • Hands-on experience with Generative AI / LLMs (OpenAI, Hugging Face, LangChain, etc.)
  • Proficiency in Python and experience with data processing tools (Pandas, Spark)
  • Experience designing distributed systems and cloud-native architectures
  • Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform)
  • Strong understanding of MLOps practices and tools (MLflow, Kubeflow, SageMaker, etc.)
  • Experience with data architectures (data lakes, warehouses, streaming pipelines)
  • Knowledge of API design and microservices architecture
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage both technical and business stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in financial services / fintech domain
  • Knowledge of model risk management and regulatory compliance (SR 11-7, etc.)
  • Experience with vector databases (Pinecone, FAISS, Weaviate)
  • Familiarity with RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) architectures
  • Experience with real-time data processing (Kafka, Flink)
  • Exposure to AI governance, bias detection, and explainability tools
  • Advanced degree in Computer Science, AI, Data Science, or related field
