Summary

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced QE Architect to lead and transform quality engineering practices across enterprise platforms. This role will be responsible for defining test strategies, driving automation excellence, and embedding quality across the SDLC for scalable, cloud-native applications.

You will work closely with engineering, product, and DevOps teams to ensure high-quality, resilient, and performant systems in a fast-paced financial services environment.


Key Responsibilities

  • Define and implement enterprise-wide Quality Engineering strategy and roadmap
  • Architect scalable test automation frameworks for UI, API, and microservices
  • Lead adoption of shift-left testing and continuous testing practices
  • Establish best practices for test data management, environment strategy, and CI/CD integration
  • Drive automation-first mindset, reducing manual testing efforts
  • Collaborate with developers to ensure testability, observability, and reliability
  • Design and oversee performance, load, and security testing strategies
  • Evaluate and implement modern QA tools and frameworks
  • Mentor and guide QE teams, ensuring technical excellence and consistency
  • Partner with DevOps teams to integrate testing into CI/CD pipelines
  • Define and track quality metrics, KPIs, and SLAs

Required Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in Quality Engineering / Software Testing
  • 3+ years in a QE Architect / Lead role
  • Strong experience with test automation frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, etc.)
  • Deep understanding of API testing (REST, GraphQL) using tools like Postman, REST Assured
  • Experience with microservices architecture and distributed systems
  • Strong programming skills in Java, Python, or JavaScript
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI)
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform)
  • Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile/Scrum methodologies
  • Experience with performance testing tools (JMeter, Gatling, LoadRunner)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in financial services / fintech domain
  • Knowledge of security testing practices (OWASP, vulnerability scanning)
  • Experience with BDD frameworks (Cucumber, SpecFlow)
  • Exposure to contract testing (Pact)
  • Experience implementing observability and monitoring for quality (Grafana, Prometheus)
  • Certifications in QA, Agile, or Cloud platforms
