Job#: 3024459 Job Description:Design System Integration EngineerRemote Email updated resume to Julissa at to apply We are seeking a highly experienced IT professional to lead infrastructure design initiatives for secure and complex environments. This DSI role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, ensuring compliance with technical governance standards, and delivering innovative, cost-effective solutions that meet stringent security and operational requirements.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Ensuring all required technical governance steps are completed for each request.
- Assemble and lead design teams to gather infrastructure requirements from IT stakeholders and business partners.
- Document hosting requirements for Closed Area environments and translate them into viable design solutions and alternatives.
- Develop cost-effective infrastructure designs aligned with IT, security, and compliance standards.
- Produce integrated design packages detailing customer requirements and recommended solutions.
- Create draft designs to support funding forecasts and planning.
- Validate that proposed solutions can be implemented within physical and operational constraints.
Essential Requirements
- Minimum of 10 years of IT experience, preferably with exposure to Closed Area computing environments.
- Strong technical background in client/server architecture, storage, networking, cloud technologies, and information security concepts.
- Experience with Dell servers, storage systems, and Cisco or Arista switches is a plus.
- Proven ability to lead teams, facilitate meetings, and manage complex workloads.
- Expertise in performing options analysis, including usability, affordability, and functionality assessments.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to deliver innovative solutions for complex technical challenges.
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft O365 tools (PowerPoint, Excel, Visio).
Desirable Requirements
- Technical college degree.
- Active security clearance or the ability to obtain one
- Familiarity with Closed Area environments and Agile methodologies.
- Strong interpersonal skills and flexibility to work across multiple time zones.
