Who We're Looking For

Data and Technology Dealer Experience (DX) is looking for a passionate and highly motivated Senior, Business Analyst.

The primary responsibility of this role is to bridge the gap between business stakeholders and technical teams to drive the initiatives and support with documentation.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Gather and analyze business requirements from stakeholders such as lending, underwriting, collections, funding, servicing, and compliance teams
  • Translate business needs into clear functional and technical requirements for IT and development teams
  • Document current-state and future-state workflows for loan origination, credit decisioning, funding, servicing, payment processing, repossession, and collections
  • Support system enhancements related to auto loan applications, dealer platforms, credit bureau integrations, payment systems, and customer portals
  • Work with data teams to define reporting needs, dashboards, KPIs, and regulatory reporting requirements
  • Analyze process gaps, root causes, and opportunities for automation or efficiency improvements
  • Participate in user acceptance testing and ensure solutions meet business requirements
  • Coordinate with developers, QA, operations, and product teams during system design, testing, and implementation
  • Help manage change requests, defect triage, and production support issues
  • Ensure solutions align with compliance, audit, lending regulations, and company policies
  • Assist with integrations between internal systems and third-party vendors such as credit bureaus, payment processors, and dealer management systems
  • Create training materials, user guides, and process documentation for business users
  • Monitor post-implementation performance and recommend refinements


What you bring

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, analytics or other field with equivalent work experience
  • Auto finance domain understanding, including loan lifecycle processes (Loan origination, underwriting, funding, servicing, collections, repossessions, and charge-offs), dealer relationship and indirect lending workflows, and credit decisioning and risk fundamentals
  • Requirements gathering and analysis experience, including eliciting stakeholder needs, defining clear requirements, and mapping current and future state processes
  • Process improvement mindset with the ability to identify inefficiencies, streamline workflows, and drive continuous improvement
  • Data and reporting skills, including understanding data flows and KPIs, analyzing trends and root causes, and working with Excel, SQL, and BI tools
  • Regulatory and compliance awareness, including familiarity with lending regulations, audit and privacy requirements, and a strong focus on risk and control impacts
  • Technical and integration expertise, working with APIs and external systems while effectively collaborating with developers and understanding system dependencies
  • Testing and validation expertise with experience in creating test scenarios, supporting UAT and defect triage, and ensuring solutions meet business expectations
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management, translating between business and technical teams, leading meetings, and influencing outcomes without direct authority
  • Strong documentation skills - creating clear process flows, user stories, SOPs, and BRDs/FRDs while maintaining organized, version-controlled records
  • Problem-solving and adaptability skills as demonstrated through managing production issues, prioritizing effectively, and staying calm under pressure.
