What You'll Be Doing- Review and interpret engineering drawings, plans, and specifications to ensure accuracy and compliance with industry standards
- Create and modify detailed CAD drawings for telecom, security, and low-voltage systems (CCTV, access control, etc.)
- Collaborate closely with engineers, project managers, and design teams to resolve discrepancies and improve design quality
- Translate rough concepts and redlines into fully developed CAD documents
- Ensure all drawings align with project requirements, codes, and standards
- Work independently within established processes while maintaining high attention to detail
- Support design updates and revisions throughout project lifecycles
What You BringRequired Qualifications- High School Diploma or GED
- 3-5 years of CAD experience (AutoCAD strongly preferred)
- Experience working with low voltage systems, including:
- Telecommunications infrastructure
- Security systems (CCTV, access control)
- Life safety systems
- Strong understanding of technical drawings, layouts, and design standards
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Preferred Qualifications- Associate's Degree in Drafting, Engineering Technology, or related field
- Experience with OSP (Outside Plant) or telecom design
- Familiarity with structured cabling systems and network infrastructure

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr.
