We are seeking a Senior Oracle EBS R12.2+ Technical Developer to support and enhance Finance and/or Oracle Projects modules in a fully onsite environment. This role focuses on hands-on development of complex Oracle APEX transaction screens, workflow programming, and configuration of approval processes using Oracle Workflow Builder and AME.
The ideal candidate has deep experience customizing Oracle EBS in an on-prem R12.2+ environment, understands end-to-end financial system processes, and thrives in a collaborative, business-facing technical role. Job Responsibilities
- Develop and support customizations and extensions within Oracle EBS R12.2+ (Finance and/or Projects modules)
- Design and build complex Oracle APEX transaction screens, including workflow-driven processes
- Configure and program approval workflows using Oracle Workflow Builder and Approvals Management Engine (AME)
- Develop and enhance concurrent programs, menus, and responsibilities using Oracle Application Object Library (AOL)
- Gather and document business and technical requirements in collaboration with stakeholders
- Create detailed functional and technical design documentation
- Support Accounts Payable, General Ledger, and iExpense approval processes
- Conduct system demonstrations and incorporate stakeholder feedback
- Support testing efforts and assist end users during deployment
- Participate in change management activities and ensure compliance with internal controls (SOX, where applicable)
qualifications:
Qualifications
5+ years of hands-on development experience in Oracle EBS R12.2+ (Finance and/or Projects modules)
5+ years of Oracle APEX development experience, including complex transaction screens (not just dashboards)
Strong experience programming Oracle Workflow using Workflow Builder
Proven experience configuring and supporting Approvals Management Engine (AME), including serial and parallel approvals
Experience modifying AOL responsibilities, menus, and concurrent programs
Solid understanding of subledger to General Ledger data flow and end-to-end financial processes
Experience supporting AP Invoice, GL Journal, and/or iExpense approval workflows
Strong technical documentation and requirements gathering skills
Ability to work effectively in a multi-developer, team-based environment
Must be able to work onsite Monday through Friday in Houston, TX
