Description
We are looking for an experienced ERP Developer to join our team at a university in San Antonio, Texas. In this role, you will design, develop, and optimize enterprise systems while supporting modernization initiatives and integrating various applications. Your work will play a vital part in enhancing institutional systems and ensuring seamless data exchange.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement integration solutions between Banner and institutional systems using Python and modern frameworks.
Create custom scripts for automating processes, facilitating data exchange, and connecting Banner with third-party applications.
Write and maintain optimized PL/SQL procedures, functions, and queries to improve database performance and support university processes.
Provide technical support during vendor implementations, including data mapping, configuration, and integration testing.
Troubleshoot complex technical issues related to integrations, database performance, and system connections.
Build technical solutions to advance modernization initiatives, such as automating workflows and supporting cloud-based systems.
Collaborate with vendors to resolve technical challenges and implement APIs and web services.
Design and manage database objects to ensure data integrity and support reporting needs.
Act as a subject matter expert on enterprise systems, providing insights and solutions to administrative processes.
Requirements
Strong experience in client-side scripting and API development.
Proficiency in Python scripting, PL/SQL development, and REST API design.
Expertise in Oracle database optimization and data modeling.
Familiarity with Ellucian Banner and student information systems.
Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions and workflows.
Excellent critical thinking, problem-solving, and time management skills.
Capability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Experience in configuration management and software integration.
