ERP/CRM Consultant

Description

We are looking for an experienced ERP/CRM Consultant to join our team in Bolingbrook, Illinois, on a long-term contract basis within the manufacturing industry. This role focuses on overseeing the implementation of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central SaaS, ensuring strong governance and successful delivery across internal and external teams. The ideal candidate will possess a hands-on approach, demonstrating expertise in managing project timelines, dependencies, and deliverables.

Responsibilities:
Lead day-to-day management of the Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central implementation, ensuring project goals are met.
Develop and maintain detailed project plans, tracking progress across all teams and stakeholders.
Coordinate with external vendors and partners, such as Eque2, to ensure seamless collaboration and integration.
Oversee budget tracking and ensure financial alignment with project objectives.
Facilitate cross-functional meetings to drive alignment and resolve any project-related issues.
Manage system build activities, including change requests and preparation for walkthroughs.
Provide executive-level reporting and updates on project status, risks, and progress.
Ensure compliance with governance practices and quality standards throughout the implementation process.
Lead both onsite and remote resources to maintain project momentum.
Monitor and manage dependencies to avoid delays in project delivery.

Requirements

Extensive experience in ERP/CRM project management, particularly with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central SaaS.
Strong ability to coordinate and manage external vendors and implementation partners.
Proven expertise in developing and maintaining project plans, budgets, and governance documentation.
Familiarity with construction-focused verticals and BC add-ons such as Avalara, product configurators, and field service tools.
Hands-on experience with system builds, walkthroughs, and change request management.
Ability to effectively lead and collaborate with both remote and onsite teams.
Background in API development, client-side scripting, and configuration management.
Proficiency in Salesforce development and business requirement documentation.
