Position: Senior Mobile Developer

Location: Portland, ME

Must-have Skills:  Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, MVVM / Clean Architecture, REST API Integration, Offline and Caching Strategies, Unit Testing, Debugging and Performance Profiling.

Job Description:

• Bachelor's degree or Master’s Degree in Computer science, or a related field, with minimum 8+ years of experience.
• Should have Experience in Design, develop, and maintain native Android applications using Kotlin. Build scalable and maintainable applications using Android SDK and modern Android architecture
• Develop responsive and user-friendly mobile interfaces following Material Design principles.
• Work with Jetpack components, including View Model, Live Data, Room, Navigation, and Work Manager
• Should have Experience in Implement modern UI using Jetpack Compose. Integrate RESTful APIs and backend services into Android applications.
• Work with JSON, authentication, push notifications, and third-party SDK/API integrations. Implement MVVM / Clean Architecture and appropriate design patterns
• Write clean, reusable, testable, and well-documented code. Develop unit tests and UI tests and work closely with QA to resolve defects.
• Troubleshoot performance issues, crashes, memory leaks, and other production issues.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to technical design and architecture discussions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile/Scrum environment.
• Support application releases through Google Play Store and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proven track record of identifying and resolving complex billing issues.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
