IT Project Coordinator

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking an IT Project Coordinator in Charlotte, NC.

Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized IT Project Coordinator to support a portfolio of concurrent technology initiatives. This role will focus on driving execution across enterprise systems, applications, and infrastructure projects while partnering closely with technical teams and leadership.

Key Responsibilities:
* Manage 7-8 concurrent IT projects, ensuring timelines, deliverables, and priorities are effectively tracked and executed
* Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, schedules, and documentation
* Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, infrastructure, and business stakeholders
* Lead regular project status meetings, providing updates, identifying risks, and ensuring accountability
* Utilize project management tools to assign, monitor, and report on tasks
* Track project progress, follow up on outstanding items, and ensure timely completion of deliverables
* Support leadership (VP of Technology) in managing operational priorities and strategic initiatives
* Drive execution of projects related to enterprise systems, internal applications, and platform enhancements
* Collaborate with technical teams to ensure requirements are clearly defined and solutions meet business needs
* Communicate project updates, risks, and dependencies clearly to stakeholders
* Build relationships across teams and facilitate alignment of project objectives and outcomes
* Proactively identify issues, assess impact, and implement solutions to keep projects on track
* Support and participate in emerging technology initiatives, including AI and automation projects, as they are introduced

REQUIREMENTS:
* 1-3 years of experience in IT Project Management or Technical Project Coordination
* Experience managing multiple concurrent projects in a fast-paced environment
* Strong understanding of IT systems, applications, or infrastructure environments
* Proven ability to create and manage project plans, timelines, and task tracking
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
* Experience working with project management tools (e.g., Wrike, MS Project, Jira, or similar)
* Ability to keep up in a fast-paced environment
* Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills

Preferred Qualifications:
* PMP, CAPM, or similar certification is a plus
* Experience working in environments with emerging technologies (AI, automation, data, or digital transformation)
* Exposure to Agile, Scrum, or hybrid project delivery methodologies
* Familiarity with enterprise systems, integrations, or platform implementations
* Experience working in fitness or a related industry

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
