Job Summary

STAFFXPERT LLC is seeking an IBM Cloud Pak Engineer on behalf of our client in Lansing, MI. This role is ideal for a highly skilled professional with deep expertise in IBM Cloud Pak for Data and a strong background in enterprise data architecture and governance. You will play a critical role in modernizing data platforms, enabling scalable solutions, and ensuring high standards of data quality and integrity.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain enterprise data solutions using IBM Cloud Pak for Data
Lead and support the migration of legacy IBM DataStage workloads to modern cloud-based platforms
Define, implement, and enforce data architecture standards, patterns, and best practices
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including business, analytics, and IT stakeholders
Ensure data quality, consistency, governance, and lifecycle management across systems
Contribute to building scalable, reliable, and secure data ecosystems

Required Qualifications

5+ years of hands-on experience with IBM Cloud Pak for Data
5+ years of experience with IBM Knowledge Catalog, including migration and support of DataStage workloads
5+ years of hands-on experience with IBM Manta
Strong experience in defining and implementing enterprise data architecture standards
Proven ability to translate business requirements into scalable data solutions
Experience working in large, complex enterprise environments with multiple data sources
Solid understanding of data governance, data quality, and lifecycle management
Excellent communication and collaboration skills across technical and non-technical teams
