Location: Dearborn, MI
Pay Rate: $46.06/hour
Schedule: Hybrid Schedule (4 days onsite Monday-Thursday)
Education Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Mechatronics Engineering, or a related field.
Experience Requirements:
- 3+ years of Systems Engineering experience
- 3+ years of Software Engineering experience
- Experience with embedded systems, electrical architectures, and software development
- Knowledge of Python, C++, cloud integration, and system design
- Experience developing and launching complex technical products or features
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and cross-functional collaboration skills
Job Duties:
- Design and develop advanced connected systems, embedded software, and vehicle feature technologies
- Architect electrical, software, and cloud-based solutions from concept through launch
- Create system requirements, specifications, verification plans, and technical documentation
- Collaborate with software, hardware, cybersecurity, cloud, and product teams
- Support integration, testing, validation, and deployment of complex systems
- Troubleshoot software, hardware, and system-level issues
- Analyze system performance and implement continuous improvements
- Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and cybersecurity standards
- Drive innovation through emerging technologies and advanced engineering practices
Physical Capabilities:
- Ability to work in a professional office and technical development environment
- Ability to sit, stand, and operate a computer for extended periods
- Occasional travel or cross-functional collaboration may be required
