Summary

Now Hiring: Systems Engineer - Controls & Feature Systems Software Developer

Location: Dearborn, MI

Pay Rate: $46.06/hour

Schedule: Hybrid Schedule (4 days onsite Monday-Thursday)

Education Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Mechatronics Engineering, or a related field.

Experience Requirements:


  • 3+ years of Systems Engineering experience

  • 3+ years of Software Engineering experience

  • Experience with embedded systems, electrical architectures, and software development

  • Knowledge of Python, C++, cloud integration, and system design

  • Experience developing and launching complex technical products or features

  • Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and cross-functional collaboration skills


Job Duties:


  • Design and develop advanced connected systems, embedded software, and vehicle feature technologies

  • Architect electrical, software, and cloud-based solutions from concept through launch

  • Create system requirements, specifications, verification plans, and technical documentation

  • Collaborate with software, hardware, cybersecurity, cloud, and product teams

  • Support integration, testing, validation, and deployment of complex systems

  • Troubleshoot software, hardware, and system-level issues

  • Analyze system performance and implement continuous improvements

  • Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and cybersecurity standards

  • Drive innovation through emerging technologies and advanced engineering practices

  • Ability to work in a professional office and technical development environment

  • Ability to sit, stand, and operate a computer for extended periods

  • Occasional travel or cross-functional collaboration may be required
