Genesis10 is currently seeking a Release Train Engineer for a contract position with a Global Financial Institution located in Charlotte, NC. This is a 12 month contract opportunity.This role involves optimizing the flow of epics, features, and value delivered by a large, complex, and technically deep Agile Release Train (ART) that supports a customer onboarding suite. The ideal candidate will guide and coach the Scrum Team on Agile practices and principles, ensure planning readiness, manage dependencies, and drive continuous improvement within an established and high-performing team.
Responsibilities:- Ensure planning readiness in strategic alignment, organizational readiness, and logistics
- Optimize the flow of epics/features and value delivered by a complex Agile Release Train (Solution Train)
- Facilitate Solution Train ceremonies, manage dependencies, and report on the health of epic/feature delivery
- Promote agile principles and mindset through coaching
- Ensure impediments to delivery are resolved quickly, protect the Train from disruptions, and drive continuous improvement
Requirements:- Bachelor's degree or higher in Business, Information Technology or similar
- Minimum 10 years of experience in technology and serving as a hands-on Scrum Master
- Agile coaching experience
- Working knowledge of Lean Agile SDLC processes and deliverables
- Working knowledge of Application Lifecycle Management (ALM)
- Experience in educating all levels of management within the agile framework (portfolio, program, team)
- Excellent analysis and troubleshooting skills
- Process and detail-oriented with accountability for meeting deliverables
- Ability to foster strong collaboration among team members and help teams solve problems
- Self-motivated, self-directed, with strong organizational skills to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
