Position Overview:
Senior Voice / VoIP Engineer
We are seeking a senior-level Voice/VoIP Engineer with strong SIP fundamentals and the ability to independently design, troubleshoot, and support large-scale voice platforms.
Key Responsibilities
Design and support SIP-based voice and VoIP solutions, including call center and IVR use cases
Troubleshoot SIP signaling, media flows, and complex voice issues across systems
Translate business requirements into technical voice and integration designs
Operate with a high degree of autonomy, owning technical decisions and outcomes
Collaborate closely with engineering teams during design, escalation, and certification efforts
Required Qualifications

Preferred Experience
SBC s: Ribbon, Audiocodes. (e.g., Oracle/Acme Packet or comparable platforms)
BroadWorks or similar carrier-grade voice platforms
Exposure to Cisco voice technologies
Experience supporting large-scale, multi-region or multi-country voice deployments
Additional information: The key items that they re needing is someone that can take a set of business requirements and build out a SIP based voice solution. They would like this person to have experience working within a Linux environment, understanding of SBC s (Oracle SBC s are what they use but open to any), some automation experience would be great, and exposure to API s like SOAP or REST would be great. Another bonus would be experience with Broadworks or Broadsoft.This manager also called out that people who have been heavily focused on working with Cisco technologies typically don t do well, So we do not need a UCCX type of person.
