Role Summary
The OpenAI - SAP Process Enterprise Architect Consultant helps enterprise customers discover, design, and prototype agentic AI solutions across SAP-enabled business processes. This is a hybrid Day 0 presales, process transformation, architecture, and solution-building role. The consultant must be comfortable moving from executive-level process value conversations into technical architecture and early prototype delivery.
The ideal candidate understands core processes such as Order-to-Cash, Procure-to-Pay, Record-to-Report, Plan-to-Produce, supply chain planning, and customer service. They can identify where AI agents, Codex-assisted development, low-code applications, MCP servers, SAP APIs, and OpenAI tools can improve worker productivity, decision quality, process speed, and customer experience.
Broad process fluency across OTC, P2P, R2R, Plan-to-Produce, supply chain, finance, service desk, and customer service. |
Working knowledge of SAP ECC, SAP S/4HANA, SAP BTP, SAP APIs, OData services, CDS views, workflow, roles, and master data. |
Understanding of agents, tool calling, structured outputs, retrieval, guardrails, human-in-the-loop, and workflow orchestration. |
Ability to guide or build MCP servers that expose SAP capabilities to OpenAI applications through secure endpoints and tool definitions. |
Hands-on ability to use Codex or low-code tools to create demos, app screens, API connectors, and proof-of-concept workflows. |
Strong communication with business, IT, SAP, and executive stakeholders. |
