Job Description:
Provide cloud software research, development, and engineering services to include requirements analysis, software development, installation, integration, evaluation, enhancement, sustainment, testing, validation, and issue diagnosis/resolution.
Job Experience:
• Shall have at least eight (8) years of experience in software development/engineering, including requirements analysis, software development, installation, integration, evaluation, enhancement, maintenance, testing, and problem diagnosis/resolution.
• Shall have at least six(6) years of experience developing software with high level languages such as Java, C, C++
• Shall have demonstrated ability to develop cloud agnostic code to exceed Open Source standards, in preparation of potential release of code.
• Shall have demonstrated work experience with performing enterprise level engineering to perform analysis, trade analysis, framework preservation and engineering, prototyping, automation, deployment, and life cycle support in the Enterprise Cloud Framework.
• Shall have demonstrated work experience with networking, system integration and life cycle support, information system security, cloud infrastructure engineering maintenance, and optimization.
• Shall have demonstrated work experience with: providing subject matter expertise to existing and future commercial cloud fabrics and framework to ensure infrastructure systems and operations are available, reliable and resilient.
• Shall have at least three (3) years of experience in software integration and software Unit Testing, to include developing and implementing test plans and
• test scripts.
• Shall have demonstrated technical writing skills and shall have generated technical documents in support of a software development project.
• Experience deploying applications in a cloud
• environment.
• Experience developing and deploying data driven analytics; event driven analytics; sets of analytics orchestrated through rules engines.
Education:
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or in a related technical field is highly desired which will be considered equivalent to two (2) years of experience. A Master's degree in a Technical Field will be considered equivalent to four (4) years of experience. NOTE: A degree In
• Mathematics, Information Systems, Engineering, or similar degree will be considered as a technical field.
Desired Skills:
• Strong proficiency in AWS SDKs and APIs
• Expertise in designing scalable, efficient AWS Cloud Architectures.
• Experience performing AWS Well Architected Framework Reviews
• Experience with AWS cloud, serverless architecture and cloud application deployment
• A deep understanding of AWS services and how to leverage them to drive innovation
• Proven experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaaC) tools, like CloudFormation or Terraform
• Skilled in CI/CD Testing
• Familiar with or have used AWS PricingCalculator and Cost Explorer
• Familiar with or have used CloudWatch and CloudTrial
• Experience with Gitlab for Version Control.
One of the following certifications:
• AWS Solution Architect Associate
• AWS Developer Associate
• AWS DevOps Engineer Professional
