JOB SUMMARY:
As a React Developer, you are responsible for building modern, scalable, and high-performing user-facing web applications. You thrive in fast-paced environments where you can create seamless, intuitive experiences for external users at scale. You bring deep expertise in React and TypeScript, along with a strong foundation in overall web development principles and best practices. You are comfortable working with APIs and collaborating closely with backend teams to deliver robust end-to-end solutions. Experience with Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance concepts allows you to quickly ramp up and contribute meaningful insights to the product.
Day-to-Day
Develop and maintain high-volume, external-facing web applications using React and TypeScript, ensuring a seamless and consistent user experience across devices and browsers.
Collaborate closely with backend developers to integrate APIs, validate data flows, and ensure optimal application performance and responsiveness.
Build reusable, scalable UI components while following modern front-end architecture patterns and coding best practices.
Optimize applications for speed, performance, accessibility, and cross-browser compatibility in high-traffic environments.
Participate in design discussions, code reviews, and testing efforts to maintain high-quality standards and consistency.
Work within Azure-hosted environments, aligning front-end solutions with cloud-based architectures and data models.
Translate business and insurance (P&C) requirements into intuitive, user-friendly interfaces that meet both functional and performance goals.
Skills & Experience
12+ years of overall web development experience, with a strong focus on modern front-end technologies.
5+ years of hands-on experience with React and TypeScript in production environments.
Proven experience building external-facing, high-traffic web applications with strong performance considerations.
Solid understanding of API integration, asynchronous data handling, and RESTful services.
Familiarity with Azure environments and foundational knowledge of data modeling concepts.
Understanding Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance concepts is highly preferred for faster onboarding.
Demonstrated ability to ramp up quickly, adapt to evolving requirements, and deliver high-quality solutions in fast-paced settings.
