Role Overview
As a Data Center Technician, you will be a primary resolver for the support team. This role involves troubleshooting and resolving complex hardware infrastructure issues. You will also create and maintain documentation on supported technologies and effectively transfer knowledge to junior staff. The position requires the ability to work autonomously to resolve most support issues and to innovate and make decisions independently.
Key Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex hardware infrastructure issues.
- Create and maintain documentation on supported technologies.
- Provide knowledge transfer and act as an escalation point for junior technicians.
- Perform remote system administration tasks as part of a virtual team.
- Automate tasks with scripts when necessary.
- Execute small projects independently and collaborate on larger local projects.
- Understand all aspects of the equipment supported.
- Take direction and pay close attention to all details involved in tasks.
Required Qualifications
Technical Skills: Basic to intermediate system administration skills are required for this role.
Compensation & Benefits
The pay rate for this position is between $18.00 and $26.00 per hour. A comprehensive benefits package is available to eligible employees.
