RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client seeking a Financial Applications Senior Developer to join their team and will play a critical role in the development, support, and enhancement of enterprise financial applications. This position will focus heavily on workflow development, process automation, and system integrations that improve operational efficiency, strengthen controls, and ensure the reliability of key financial systems. The ideal candidate will combine strong technical development experience with a deep understanding of financial applications and business processes. This is a hybrid role with 3 days in office and 2 days remote at their Tampa, FL location.
Key Responsibilities:
* Design, develop, maintain, and support custom financial applications and related integrations
* Create and enhance workflow solutions to automate business processes, improve efficiency, and reduce operational risk
* Develop solutions supporting business intake, conflicts management, risk assessment, and financial operations
* Integrate business intake and conflicts data with financial systems to ensure seamless data flow and data integrity
* Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements, evaluate solutions, and develop technical designs
* Assess project feasibility, scope, timelines, and technical requirements
* Document technical specifications, business requirements, and process improvements
* Troubleshoot, optimize, and enhance existing applications to improve performance and functionality
* Participate in software testing, validation, deployment, and production support activities
* Assist with system configuration, automation, customization, and implementation initiatives
* Serve as a technical subject matter expert on financial systems projects and complex application issues
* Work cross-functionally with Finance, IT, Privacy & Compliance, Legal, Risk, and Business Operations teams
REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Finance, or a related field
* 5+ years of experience developing and supporting financial applications
* Experience designing workflows and implementing process automation solutions
* Strong understanding of financial systems, application integrations, and business processes
* Experience gathering requirements and translating business needs into technical solutions
* Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex application issues
* Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Ability to work effectively within cross-functional teams
Preferred Skills:
* Experience supporting enterprise financial systems within highly regulated environments
* Knowledge of business intake, conflicts management, compliance, risk management, or financial operations workflows
* Experience with workflow automation platforms and low-code/no-code process automation tools
* Understanding of data integrations, APIs, and enterprise application architecture
* Experience working with Microsoft 365 technologies and reporting tools

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
