Job Description

We are seeking a Desktop Support Candidate to assist with IT warehouse operations and device deployment activities. This role supports hardware fulfillment, inventory management, and end-user equipment needs in a structured enterprise environment.
The ideal candidate has some prior exposure to IT or technology-related roles such as Service Desk, Desktop Support, Mobility, or Hardware Fulfillment and is comfortable working with ticketing systems and inventory workflows.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide support for IT warehouse and deployment activities
• Manage and resolve assigned tickets using the ServiceNow ticketing system
• Fulfill IT hardware requests, including shipping devices and tracking requests
• Check in and manage IT hardware inventory
• Update SAP for received and deployed IT assets
• Assist with equipment recovery, including:
  • Collecting laptops, mobile devices, and peripherals from onsite locations
  • Coordinating with managers of offboarded employees
  • Sending return boxes and FedEx labels to remote users
  • Processing returned equipment and following data retention procedures
• Support peripheral deployments, including monitor setup and workstation components
• Image and prepare computers for deployment as needed
• Adhere to all client policies and procedures at all times

Contract Details

• 6-month contract
• Opportunity for extension up to 2 years based on performance and business needs

Required Skills

• Windows operating systems
• Valid driver's license (required)
• Experience with Microsoft 365 and related applications
• Familiarity with IT ticketing or incident management systems (ServiceNow, Remedy, ITSM)
• Basic understanding of SAP

Nice-to-Have Qualifications

• Associate degree
• CompTIA A+ or similar entry-level certification

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract position based out of NORTH CHICAGO, IL.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
