Summary

Job Title: Senior Veeva Vault CRM Technical Architect (Migration & Integration)

Location: Remote (EST)

About the Role
We're looking for a hands-on Veeva CRM Technical Architect to lead a life sciences client's migration from the Salesforce-based Veeva CRM platform to Vault CRM. Beyond the target architecture and migration path, you'll help mature the operating model around development, releases, DevOps, QA, validation, and support. You'll design practical solutions, coach the internal team, and put repeatable controls in place where current processes are ad hoc.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the technical architecture for the migration from Salesforce-based Veeva CRM to Vault CRM
  • Define the migration approach, deployment path, technical controls, and how configuration and changes move through environments
  • Design and improve release management, including Veeva deployment packages and repeatable promotion procedures
  • Build a more mature operating model for development, DevOps, QA, validation, and production support
  • Partner with QA to define controls, procedures, and validation practices
  • Own integration strategy and implementation across the Veeva landscape
  • Coach internal technical resources so the team can operate and maintain the platform on its own
  • Provide hands-on technical leadership with business, technical, QA, and implementation stakeholders

Required Skills & Experience

  • Deep, hands-on experience with Veeva CRM and Veeva Vault CRM architecture
  • Strong integration strategy and implementation experience, connecting Veeva with other platforms
  • Direct experience with Veeva CRM migration, ideally Salesforce-based to Vault CRM
  • Experience implementing and integrating Vault CRM from scratch
  • Strong understanding of Veeva deployment packages, environment promotion, release operations, and technical upkeep
  • Experience designing DevOps, release management, development, deployment, and support processes for enterprise platforms
  • Strong solutioning skills alongside technical architecture depth
  • Prior experience as a tech lead managing a technical team
  • Excellent communication skills

Environment

  • About 500 CRM users (territory managers, marketing, medical communications)
  • Veeva landscape includes ETM, REP, QMS, EDC, and promotional materials
  • Integrations with an enterprise data lake (five data pipelines), Reltio MDM, Drupal, and Veeva OpenData with SAP
