Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Architecture Design Project Manager to support enterprise-level architecture initiatives within a Data Analytics and AI organization. This role is part of a centralized architecture and design function responsible for evaluating new platforms, tools, and technologies. The position focuses on assessing the fit, feasibility, long-term viability, and alignment of new technologies with enterprise standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead enterprise-wide evaluations of new platforms and architecture tools, including data platforms, AI solutions, and integration tools.
- Perform fit, feasibility, and long-term viability assessments for technologies new to the organization.
- Develop and present architecture recommendations and supporting analysis to stakeholders for tool approval and purchasing decisions.
- Support mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures by assessing impacts from a data, AI, and automation architecture perspective.
- Provide high-level architectural guidance focused on strategy and design.
- Manage projects using a primarily waterfall methodology, with flexibility for agile environments.
- Own project budgets end-to-end, including tracking and managing financials within project management systems.
- Collaborate with architecture leadership, PMO, technology enablement teams, and business stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience managing enterprise-scale platform or architecture evaluations.
- Strong project management background within architecture, data, AI, or platform environments.
- Hands-on experience with JIRA (Atlassian suite).
- Experience working in Clarity or a similar enterprise portfolio tool.
- Familiarity with data platforms, analytics ecosystems, and AI-related technologies.
- Ability to operate in waterfall and agile project environments.
- Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with ServiceNow SPM or Smartsheet.
- Exposure to enterprise data platform comparisons, such as Snowflake vs. Databricks.
- Prior involvement in M&A or divestiture initiatives from a technology or data perspective.
- Technical or domain knowledge of architecture tools.
Compensation & Benefits
Pay Rate: $60.00/hr-$75.00/hr. The specific compensation for this role will be determined based on a variety of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, and experience.
