Our client is seeking a ServiceNow Architect in Raleigh, NC/Hybrid.
Role Description
Seeking a ServiceNow Architect who operates as a Product Owner. This is a senior, hands-on role requiring deep technical expertise, strong product thinking, and a collaborative, forward-looking mindset. The ideal candidate is passionate about great design, technical rigor, and continuous improvement, and is comfortable leading both strategy and execution. This role reports through the Strategic Portfolio Management Office within Operations and collaborates across and outside of the enterprise.
As a Lead Architect, this consultant will lead the ServiceNow design excellence, own the product roadmap, and deliver high-impact solutions for customers.
Packages IT elements into repeatable deployments using automation techniques and technologies.
Collaborates with other teams (IT DevOps, Security, and Operations) to develop detailed application implementation solutions for the ServiceNow platform
Architects, develops, builds, implements and maintains highly secure, compliant, resilient, cost-effective, and high-performing solutions for assigned groups or disciplines.
Ensures team-wide application of standard operating procedures for development, deployment, support, break-fix, and systems management.
Facilitates/collaborates with multiple teams and their implementation partner to develop ServiceNow roadmap based on our business needs that drive value to our customers.
Prioritizes and manages backlog and oversees implementations to ensure program execution aligns with product strategy.
Defines KPIs, assesses product performance, and develops a path forward to close gaps.
Provides cloud architecture advice and support across overlapping programs, portfolios, and business lines.
Plans, designs, develops, tests, and troubleshoots ServiceNow architecture as well as other cloud-based applications.
Drives structuring of the product vision, roadmap, priorities, enabler capabilities, nonfunctional requirements and solution demo activities.
Facilitate value stream mapping workshops (cross-functional) to visualize the end-to-end software delivery flow, identify non-value-added steps, bottlenecks, rework, and delay sources analogous to cloud solutions.
Provides expertise on decisions and priorities related to the enterprise's overall systems architecture as it relates to ServiceNow
Drives structuring of the product vision, roadmap, priorities, enablement, and solution demo activities within the current platform as well as future-state capabilities.
Offers guidance on technical aspects, including AI, of ServiceNow development and integration to ensure strategies, roadmaps, policies, standards, and practices are aligned.
Works with stakeholders to align the ServiceNow architecture to align the architectural direction with the solution intent.
Lead high-level discussions with executives to align architectural strategies with broader transformational initiatives.
Collaborate with various teams to understand their needs and design solutions that drive usability in the ServiceNow platform.
Performs application design, configuration, extension, integration, performance tuning builds, supports and maintains integration between ServiceNow and other enterprise solutions
Skills & Requirements
Bachelor's degree in computer science, IT, engineering, or similar and applicable field of study AND 4+ years in cloud infrastructure technologies.
10 + years implementing enterprise IT systems, applications, and infrastructure.
8+ years of experience leading ServiceNow architecture engagements.
Deep understanding of ServiceNow core infrastructure, CMDB, ITSM, CSM, SPM, and GRC.
Proficient in ServiceNow scripting languages (JavaScript, HTML, CSS, etc.) and ServiceNow application development best practices.
Experience with ServiceNow integrations, including REST APIs, SOAP, and other integration methods.
At least one full lifecycle ServiceNow implementation in the role of a lead architect
ServiceNow CTA (Certified Technical Architect).
Ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
Knowledge of platform engineering and DevOps practices and tools.
Technology Service Provider experience.
Proven understanding of ITIL certifications.
