Software Guidance & Assistance, Inc., (SGA), is searching for a Cloud/DevOps Engineer - III for a contract assignment with one of our premier Financial Services clients in San Francisco, CA .
Responsibilities :
We're seeking a hands-on Senior DevOps Engineer for a contract position to build and maintain secure, resilient CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation for our SaaS Identity Governance platform.
- Design, implement, and maintain secure, resilient CI/CD pipelines to automate build, testing, deployment, and release processes
- Write automation scripts and tools for deployment workflows
- Integrate automated security and compliance scanning into CI/CD pipelines
- Work closely with engineering and security teams on deployment automation
- Collaborate with product teams to identify and prioritize automation work for upcoming releases
Required Skills :
- 10+ years of hands on DevOps/Cloud engineering experience
- Strong hands-on experience with:
- CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or similar)
- Production experience with IaC
- Docker and containerized workflows
- At least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform)
- SaaS/multi-tenant platforms
- API integrations at scale
- Scripting (Python, Bash, or PowerShell)
- Integrating multiple third-party platforms and services
- Strong troubleshooting skills
Preferred Skills :
- Hands on experience with:
- Master's Computer Science preferred
- API testing and integration patterns
- Building and integrating APIs for platform connectivity and automation
- Disaster recovery planning and testing
- Monitoring and observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Datadog, or similar)
- Certifications: AWS/Azure/Google Cloud Platform Professional, CKA, Terraform Associate
