Job Description Everforth ECS is seeking a IT Operations Lead [Tier 3] - Senior to work in Fairfax, Virginia. Please Note: This position is contingent upon contract award. Responsibilities - Lead Tier 3 operational support activities for enterprise infrastructure and network services.
- Serve as the primary escalation point for complex incidents, ensuring timely resolution.
- Coordinate and manage cross-domain troubleshooting initiatives.
- Validate root cause analyses and develop remediation plans for recurring issues.
- Supervise and mentor Tier 3 technicians, ensuring compliance with operational procedures.
- Monitor and report on performance trends to infrastructure leadership.
- Collaborate with network, cybersecurity, and engineering teams to enhance service resilience.
- Ensure adherence to service-level objectives and operational standards.
- Analyze incident patterns to recommend infrastructure improvements.
Required Skills Required Qualifications - Clearance: Secret Eligible required
- S. Citizenship required
- DoD 8140.03 Compliance: DoD Cyber Workforce Framework (DCWF) Work Role 411-Technical Support Specialist at the Advanced proficiency level
- Certifications (one or more required): SecurityX / CASP+, CCNP Security, CISA, FITSP-O, GICSP, SSCP
- Education: Masters or Ph.D in [Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Data Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, Software Engineering]
- Minimum of 8-10 years of progressive experience in DoD or Federal IT operations.
- Proven expertise in managing Tier 3 support for infrastructure and network services.
- Experience in supervising technical teams and ensuring procedural compliance.
- Ability to effectively coordinate with diverse technical teams to achieve mission objectives.
- Strong analytical skills for performance trend analysis and incident management.
Desired Skills Desired Qualifications - Clearance: Active Secret preferred
- Familiarity with ARNG or similar DoD environments.
- Experience with enterprise IT infrastructure and cybersecurity practices.
- Strong leadership skills in a high-stakes, mission-critical environment.
- Knowledge of SIPRNet operations and classified network management.
- Experience with emergency response and mobilization readiness operations.
