Storage Admin / Linux Admin (Senior Storage Engineer)

Location: Ridgefield Park, NJ
Rate: $42/hour - W2 Contract
Contract: 1 Year

About the Role:
We’re seeking an experienced Senior Storage Engineer to join our IT Data Center Operations team. This role will lead the architecture, deployment, and lifecycle management of enterprise storage systems across multiple data centers and cloud environments. You’ll ensure the reliability, performance, and scalability of storage and data protection services that power critical business applications.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, implement, and optimize SAN, NAS, and object storage solutions for enterprise workloads.
Manage, monitor, and troubleshoot complex storage environments across on-prem and cloud platforms.
Oversee data protection, backup, replication, and disaster recovery strategies.
Automate provisioning and reporting using PowerShell, Python, or Ansible.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and mentor junior engineers.
Ensure data security, compliance, and adherence to ITIL processes.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience).
7+ years in enterprise storage or infrastructure management in large-scale data centers.
Expertise in Dell EMC, NetApp ONTAP, Pure Storage, or HPE 3PAR/Nimble.
Strong experience with SAN/NAS architectures, cloud storage (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform), and virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V).
Proficiency in scripting and automation (PowerShell, Python, Ansible).
Excellent problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills.

Preferred Certifications:
Dell EMC Proven Professional, NetApp NCDA, VMware VCP, ITIL Foundation, or cloud certifications (AWS/Azure/Google Cloud Platform).
