Summary

Aptask Global Workforce (AGW) is seeking a Manufacturing Process Technician - Swing Shift for a 12+ month contract position with a Major Pharmaceutical Company located in New Albany, OH.

This role involves operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting automated and innovative manufacturing equipment for packaging operations. The ideal candidate will leverage mechanical proficiency and problem-solving skills to ensure machine uptime and product quality in a fast-paced, GMP-regulated environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Under limited supervision, perform equipment setup, operation, and troubleshooting to meet all standards for safety, quality, and efficiency
  • Maintain machine uptime, perform fault clearing, and clear stoppages on automated equipment
  • Perform basic manufacturing process operations such as dispensing raw materials, material reconciliation, and line clearance
  • Use human machine interfaces (HMIs) to identify alarms and correct line stoppages
  • Troubleshoot and identify potential solutions for mechanical errors, safety issues, or operating inefficiencies
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to help drive improvement opportunities
  • Utilize computer systems to support material inventory (SAP transactions) and electronic batch records
  • Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and standardized operating procedures
  • Assist as a training resource on manufacturing tasks and equipment use

Requirements:
  • High school diploma and 2 years of technical experience in a Pharmaceutical, Manufacturing, or Packaging environment
  • OR Associate's degree and 6 months of technical experience in a Pharmaceutical, Manufacturing, or Packaging environment
  • Only candidates available and ready to work directly as Aptask Global Workforce (AGW) employees will be considered for this position.

Desired skills:
  • Ability to follow written procedures
  • Capability to diagnose malfunctions and perform equipment setup
  • Educational background in Mechanical, Electronic Engineering Technology, or Industrial Mechanics
  • Working experience in a GMP, Medical Device, or Biotech Manufacturing regulated environment
  • Experience working with highly automated equipment and Human Machine Interfaces (HMIs)
  • Experience with discrete component assembly
  • Excellent attention to detail, good organization, and capable of working independently
  • Able to work in small groups and cross-functional teams to troubleshoot issues
  • Good documentation, planning, and inventory skills

Pay range: $20.96 - $23.29 per hour
