Genesis10 is seeking a Lead Business Analyst. This is a 12-month hybrid contract position with a client located in Orrville, OH. Compensation: $65.00 - $75.00/HR W2 Description: Cloud Analytics Platform Implementation or CAPI is a large Program made of 7 project teams focused on delivering new data warehouse, analytics and visualization platforms for the company. This project is standing up several new applications and modernizing our current state processes. This person would support Program activities on one or more of the project teams. It's a PMO led project and is following a Hybrid Iterative Waterfall Methodology.
Responsibilities: - Elicit, analyze, and document business requirements, translating them into functional and technical specifications.
- Contribute to the design of new systems or modifications to existing ones, ensuring they meet business needs and technical feasibility.
- Responsible for managing follow-ups, ensuring they are documented with the correct owner on the RAID and shepherding tasks to completion.
- Collaborate with Data Owners and Data Stewards to ensure Data Governance best practices are in place for Data Delivery
- Collaborate with business users, IT teams, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment on project goals and requirements.
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, including requirements documents, use cases/user stories, and test scripts.
- Identify and resolve issues related to system functionality, data quality, and project implementation.
- Analyze and optimize business processes, recommending improvements through technology solutions.
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of SDLC methodologies, agile practices, and relevant IT tools.
- They facilitate communication within the team and with stakeholders, providing regular updates and feedback.

- Experience with SDLC methodologies and Agile practices .
- Knowledge of database concepts and data analysis techniques .
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team .
- Experience with relevant IT tools and technologies .
- Ability to manage stakeholder expectations and relationships. Comfortable facilitating cross functional meetings and building consensus.
Preferred Experience: - Experience with Data Analytics projects; delivery experience with past large scale implementation projects specifically in the Data Warehouse and Data Analytics space
- Experience with Azure DevOps, Spotfire, Databricks, Tableau, ServiceNow, GitHub, Atlan
- Experience with SOX Compliance Requirements and Testing Considerations
- Exposure to data governance best practices.
