We are seeking a data-driven professional with expertise in Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform) to design, develop, and maintain reports and dashboards that deliver actionable insights. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in data extraction from Google Cloud Platform services and building interactive dashboards using modern BI tools. (This is focused on– Data Repository / Reporting) Key challenge:
They do not want a basic BI dashboard developer — they want someone who can solution the reporting ecosystem from the ground up. Tableau / Looker are defaults, but they need someone who can speak up and guide that decision. This role is about designing the reporting structure — not just building dashboards. What they will need to do : design reporting structure interpret complex data models recommend tooling direction build dashboards themselves act as SME without being an ivory-tower architect This person should still be technical and coding daily. Must Haves: Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform services (BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Dataflow). Strong proficiency in SQL and data modeling. Expertise in dashboard development using Tableau, Looker, or similar BI tools. Familiarity with ETL tools and workflow automation. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Key Responsibilities Data Extraction & Transformation Develop queries and workflows to extract data from Google Cloud Platform services (e.g., BigQuery, Cloud Storage). Perform data cleansing, transformation, and aggregation for reporting needs. Dashboard Development Design and build interactive dashboards using tools such as Tableau, Looker, Power BI, or similar. Ensure dashboards are optimized for performance and usability. Reporting & Analytics Create automated reports and visualizations to support business decision-making. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into effective reporting solutions. Integration & Automation Implement automated data pipelines and reporting processes using Google Cloud Platform tools and scripting. Integrate dashboards with multiple data sources for comprehensive insights. Quality & Governance Validate data accuracy and consistency across reports and dashboards. Follow best practices for data security and compliance. |
