About the Role

In this contingent role, you will contribute to software engineering initiatives that influence the development and delivery of scalable, high-quality technology solutions. You'll work on moderately complex projects, provide technical analysis, and collaborate with cross-functional partners to support engineering deliverables.

You will leverage your experience to evaluate technical challenges, recommend solutions, and ensure adherence to engineering standards, policies, and compliance requirements. This role also includes engaging with client engineering teams to support planning, execution, and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities

• Participate in and consult on moderately complex software engineering projects and initiatives.
• Contribute to large-scale planning efforts related to engineering deliverables.
• Review, analyze, and troubleshoot software engineering challenges involving variable factors.
• Collaborate with team members and client personnel to resolve issues and deliver high-quality engineering solutions.
• Apply engineering best practices, internal policies, and compliance standards throughout project execution.
• Support continuous improvement through knowledge sharing and cross-functional coordination.

Required Qualifications

• 4+ years of software engineering experience, or equivalent experience through one or a combination of:
  • Professional work
  • Consulting experience
  • Technical training
  • Military service
  • Relevant education

Preferred Skills

• Experience with DevOps practices
• Hands-on expertise with GitHub Actions
• Familiarity with Harness for CI/CD orchestration

Location

• Charlotte, NC (On-site or hybrid depending on client needs)
