Infrastructure Director, Cloud, Operations, Network

Introduction:

The Infrastructure Director will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of cloud, operations, and network infrastructure within the organization. This role involves strategic planning, leadership, and technical expertise to ensure the stability, scalability, and security of the company''s IT infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of enterprise infrastructure systems.
  • Develop and execute strategies for modernizing infrastructure and optimizing costs.
  • Manage a team of IT professionals, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance evaluations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of IT services with business objectives.
  • Implement ITIL frameworks and best practices for IT service management.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations, particularly in banking, insurance, or other regulated sectors.

Requirements:

Required Skills:

  • 8–12+ years of experience in Cloud, Infrastructure, IT Ops, and Network; with 4+ years in a leadership role.
  • Proven expertise in enterprise infrastructure design, capacity planning, modernization, and cost optimization.
  • Technical proficiency in AWS, Azure, DevOps/DevSecOps, CI/CD, IaC, and virtualization.
  • Experience with tools such as Jira, Confluence, and ITIL frameworks.
  • Strong soft skills including strategic thinking, communication, and collaboration.

Preferred Skills:

  • Certifications in AWS/Azure Architect, DevOps Engineer, CISSP/CISM, ITIL v4, VMware VCP, Terraform, CKA.

  • Ability to analyze complex issues and deliver innovative solutions.
  • Build strong partnerships internally and externally.
  • Deep understanding of SDLC, agile methodologies, and cloud technologies.
