Senior Qlik Sense Developer - 6+ Months - New York City (3 days Onsite per week)

Hi ,

We are seeking an experienced Senior Qlik Sense Developer for a 6+ month contract supporting a major client in New York City. This role requires on site presence three days per week and focuses on delivering high quality analytics, dashboards, and reporting solutions that translate business needs into actionable insights.

Position: Senior Qlik Sense Developer

Duration: 6+ months (contract)

Location: New York City — 3 days onsite per week

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain interactive Qlik Sense dashboards and applications to meet business requirements.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into effective visualizations and KPIs.
• Build and optimize data models, implement star schema patterns, and ensure efficient data relationships for analytics.
• Write and tune SQL queries to source and transform data from relational databases.
• Ensure BI best practices for usability, performance, and data governance are followed across deliverables.

Required Qualifications:

• 5+ years of hands-on experience developing Qlik Sense dashboards and applications.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with relational database systems.
• Solid understanding of Business Intelligence principles and data visualization best practices.
• Experience with data modeling concepts (star schema, fact/dimension relationships).
• Proven ability to convert business requirements into analytics and reporting solutions.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.

Preferred / Nice to Have:

• Experience with data warehousing concepts and ETL processes.
• Background integrating data from multiple sources and building consolidated reporting layers.
• Familiarity with other BI platforms such as Tableau or Power BI.
• Prior experience working in hybrid on site/remote delivery models and in matrixed organizations.
