Help Desk Analyst

Description

We are looking for skilled Help Desk Analysts to join our team on a long-term contract basis. This position offers an exciting opportunity to support a large-scale infrastructure upgrade project spanning over 4,300 locations nationwide. Successful candidates will play a key role in ensuring the seamless operation of IT equipment during both pre- and post-validation phases of the upgrade.

Responsibilities:

Provide technical assistance and troubleshooting support for IT equipment during the infrastructure upgrade process.

Collaborate with team members to validate and ensure proper functionality of IT systems before and after switch upgrades.

Address and resolve service desk tickets promptly, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.

Utilize Active Directory and Microsoft Windows 10 for system administration and problem resolution.

Document technical issues and resolutions comprehensively to maintain accurate records.

Communicate effectively with team leads and stakeholders to provide status updates and escalate issues when necessary.

Follow established protocols to ensure compliance with project guidelines and standards.

Deliver exceptional customer service by responding to inquiries and providing clear technical guidance.

Assist in the coordination of team schedules to ensure coverage across project timelines.

Requirements

Previous experience in IT Help Desk or Technical Support roles.
Proficiency in troubleshooting and resolving issues related to Microsoft Windows environments.
Familiarity with Active Directory and its application in system administration.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective documentation and interaction.
Ability to manage service desk tickets efficiently and prioritize tasks based on urgency.
High attention to detail to ensure accuracy during equipment validation.
Experience working in call center environments is a plus.
Capability to work collaboratively in a team-focused setting.
