Description
We are looking for a Field Technician to join our team in Atlanta, Georgia, on a long-term contract basis. This role involves conducting onsite audits of production devices across various client locations, ensuring devices meet required standards and documenting findings. The position requires hands-on expertise with Windows operating systems and interaction with client staff in environments that require attention to detail.
Responsibilities:
Travel to client locations within the designated region to perform onsite audits of production devices.
Conduct physical inspections of desktops and laptops currently in use.
Verify the presence of necessary security and management tools on each device.
Assess installed software and identify items needing further review or follow-up.
Accurately document findings in accordance with provided standards and procedures.
Escalate technical issues or discrepancies to internal leads as needed.
Maintain clear and attentive communication and provide excellent customer service during interactions with client staff.
Work independently while adhering to guidelines and ensuring consistent results.
Adapt to changing client locations and schedules throughout the duration of the project.
Requirements
Hands-on experience with Windows operating systems, including navigating system configurations and device settings.
Familiarity with workstation audits, endpoint support, or deployments.
Ability to follow structured procedures and document results accurately.
Strong troubleshooting skills with Active Directory and Windows 10.
Experience with service desk ticketing systems.
Detail-oriented communication skills and ability to interact effectively with clients.
Reliable transportation and willingness to travel between client sites.
macOS experience is a plus, but not required.
