Senior EHR Implementation Consultant / Clinical Informatics Specialist
Location: Remote
Department: Healthcare IT Operations
Employment Type: Full-Time (Contract-to-Hire options available)
About the Role
Are you a veteran of the Cerner Millennium ecosystem looking for your next mission? Following the recent shifts in the Oracle Health landscape, [Company Name] is actively expanding our clinical systems team. We recognize the immense value of the talent currently entering the market and are looking for experts who have spent years navigating the complexities of EHR deployments, HL7 integrations, and large-scale healthcare digital transformations.
We aren't just looking for someone who knows the software; we're looking for the people who were in the trenches during "Go-Live" week and know exactly how to stabilize a system under pressure.
What You'll Do
- Lead Clinical Workflows: Design and optimize clinical documentation and CPOE workflows within our [EHR System, e.g., Epic, Cerner, or Meditech] environment.
- System Integration: Manage complex data migrations and HL7/FHIR interoperability projects across multi-facility health systems.
- Strategic Optimization: Translate clinical requirements into technical specifications to improve provider satisfaction and patient safety.
- Crisis Management: Act as the primary escalation point for system-wide performance issues, leveraging your deep background in enterprise-scale health informatics.
What We're Looking For
- The "Cerner Heritage": Direct experience with Cerner Millennium, RevWorks, or HealtheIntent. We value the rigor and enterprise-level training that comes from the legacy Cerner/Oracle Health environment.
- Implementation Veterans: A track record of at least 3-5 full-cycle EHR implementations or major upgrades.
- Technical Depth: Proficiency in CCL (Cerner Command Language), Bedrock, or similar SQL-based reporting and configuration tools.
- Adaptability: The ability to pivot your deep EHR knowledge toward new platforms or hybrid cloud environments.
Why Join Us Now?
- Stability & Growth: Unlike the volatility of the current "AI Pivot," we are focused on the long-term sustainability of patient care technology.
- Immediate Interviews: We have streamlined our hiring process specifically for displaced Oracle/Cerner talent.
- Competitive Compensation: We offer salary packages that respect your tenure and specialized skillset, including [list benefits like 401k, health insurance, etc.].
- Culture of Care: We believe in the "Health" part of Healthcare IT. Our teams are collaborative, not just a line item on a balance sheet.
